I am back. Well, I was always here but I was a bit stagnant. Piffles, right?

Well, school has started (5 weeks ago) and my senior year is actually pretty easy, I do have a full schedule, though. I've been busy, but not stressful busy like with school work, but with college applications and taking my sister places and babysitting for the whole afternoons of Wednesday and Friday.

I've been all over the place with photography but nothing that I deem worthy. It's a lot of pointless pictures that will be for the yearbook. (Yay being chief editor ) I've become pretty addicted to tumblr. It's stupid and I hate it but, ... I really love my tumblarity =o

Anyways, what do you guys wanna see? I'm not working with film atm, mainly because I'm not with my teacher like I was last year. And also, the whole class was bugging me because he had a totally different eye than me. But, I did create a portfolio of my sister without getting a shot of her face. Was an accomplishment. And.. yeah.

So, I think the main reason why I wasn't updating or uploading was because I felt so bummed that other people could picspam images redundantly of their face that was manipulated and made "pretty". It pissed me off because the person has just become a high end myspace photographer who knows how to use makeup and photoshop.

But I am sick of my gallery. I think I'm just sick of that portfolio I've been working on for 5 months... Yeah.

Hopefully some new ideas coming in. Sadly I will not be leaving the States with a new camera. D: Best Buy was torture. I was standing with all the SLRs for about an hour.

Besides that, I've been working on my final portfolio and suite for my photography class. It's been a bit stressing; trying to shoot two rolls a week when I'd much rather sleep and my sister (the subject of the portfolio) would rather go out, and keeping ideas fresh and updated (not too overdone.)

I have four weeks left = two classes each week. Working with film isn't a quick process, either. Am having mixed feelings on my choice to focus so much on black and white film. :/

I have a whole list of objects and positions to reinvestigate with my sister. Some of them being the 3rd time reinvestigated. But this is what is: no quick show back of the image like a digital.

A couple of the images of the girl and her body parts (hands, feet, & the like) are all part of this portfolio. I think it's a decent subject for my first time but I also feel held back by it. I love taking random glamour shots and, if you will, fun shots. My teacher is a bit more of an abstract-ist. Well, I say that... He perfers to have the head of my dog cropped off on one side rather than seeing her Dobby-like (from HP) ears.

That's just his eye, though. And I know that other people perfer other angles of the head and whatnot, but it's so hard for me to find any criticism over here where I live. When someone sees a photo they're all "0oh, purdy!" >.<

Anyways. Still haven't gotten that subscription. Gave up on it, truthfully. I'm just waiting until I am in Florida and hopefully DevArt won't reject the card and location.!

Did I mention it's summer? And that I have my driver's license.
